Annual-Conference

Update from the Conference Committee

Folks, we are about a month out from the annual conference and we are getting very excited as we finalize all the details for this year’s conference! Make sure to register for the conference if you haven’t done so already!

Sponsors
Our conference simply could not happen without the generosity of our sponsors and we are fortunate to have a record number of sponsors this year!

This year, we are pleased to welcome back BrainMaster as our Platinum Sponsor. They have been a source of continual support for our organization throughout the years and have also provided additional sponsorships, like the lanyards for the conference badges. Don’t miss the BrainMaster Technologies Reception, an exclusive opportunity to engage with our Platinum Sponsor, hosted on Friday @ 8:30 pm. We thank them for their sponsorship and look forward to drinks and dancing with this great crew!

Our generous Gold Sponsors include Deymed Diagnostics and Applied Neuroscience. Deymed has also been a consistent Gold Sponsor for ISNR in past years. Applied Neuroscience increased their sponsorship to Gold status for this year’s conference. Applied Neuroscience also opted to host a pre-conference sponsored workshop this year. Make sure to check it out if you haven’t committed to another of our engaging pre-conference workshops.

Our six Silver Sponsors are Thought Technology, Stens Corporation, NewMind Technologies, Vielight, Integrated Neuroscience, and iMediSync, Inc.

You can find all of the sponsors information along with our exhibitors on the conference website. Be sure to check them all out during your time in the exhibit hall. Finally, if you aren’t in a hurry to travel on Sunday, you may want to check the sponsor and exhibitor workshops (12-5 pm). This is an opportunity to get all of your specific product questions answered in a small setting with each company.

Our conference is grateful for all of our Sponsors and Exhibitors participating this year!

Conference Highlights
There will be many familiar aspects to this year’s conference, including a great line up of engaging presentations, ISNR Foundations material, informative workshops, enjoyable small group discussions and social receptions.  Additionally, you have likely seen some of our featured Keynote and Invited speakers from our emails and social media posts.

I would like to take a moment to highlight one of our speakers, Dr. Marc Lewis, who will be speaking about his own experiences in the addiction world and what he has come to understand about the brain and addiction after years of research, his own and in synthesizing the work of others. Mark your calendars for his 60-minute presentation on Saturday at 12:30 pm followed by his afternoon workshop for attendees that may specialize or have particular interest in addiction populations.

Another new offering for this year’s conference will be our clinician panel on Friday night (7 pm) just before the BrainMaster Technologies Reception. Listen as Dr. Leslie Sherlin interviews some of our most experienced clinicians doing neurofeedback and other brain therapies “in the trenches” every day. This is an opportunity to get first hand tips on what makes a neurofeedback practice successful. There will be an opportunity for the audience to participate in Q&A with the panelists.

Extra Curricular Activities
The weather in Arizona will be cooling down to enjoyable temperatures! It is a perfect time to spend some time walking around the Tanger Outlets or checking out the many restaurants, shops, and the comedy club located at Westgate Entertainment District. Remember, the Arizona Cardinals NFL team will be hosting a home game against the Denver Broncos on Thursday October 15 about half a mile south of the Conference Hotel. This will make for great people watching and some folks may even want to check out the game. If you feel like venturing a bit farther, a new Top Golf just opened within minutes of the hotel and Westgate is home both to a fantastic bowling alley as well as Dave & Busters!

Of course, you may just want to relax with your feet in the pool or pamper yourself in the Spa Botanica located in the hotel.  They have a plethora of restorative packages for both spa and salon services as well as boutique with unique, natural and botanical products. You can even book online ahead of time to make sure they have a spot for you!
