This three-part CEU webinar series is designed for mental health professionals who also deliver neurofeedback services. It emphasizes the importance of cultural responsiveness, ethical awareness, and clinical adaptability across varying client backgrounds and beliefs. Each one-hour session builds on the last while remaining suitable as a standalone training.
Session 3 focuses specifically on neurofeedback. It addresses how to ethically navigate issues such as gender-related consent when placing electrodes, touch sensitivity, and client concerns around brain-based technologies. Clinicians will learn how to clearly explain neurofeedback processes and outcomes in a manner that respects spiritual or cultural beliefs, ensuring safety and informed participation. By the end of the series, participants will have gained practical tools for delivering services that are both clinically effective and respectful of each client’s identity, preferences, and meaning-making systems.
