SUMMARY:Strategies for Implementing Evidence-based Practice in Neurofeedbac
 k
DESCRIPTION:Registration:\nRegister here\nCourse Description:\nAs the field
of neurofeedback rapidly evolves\, the emphasis on integrating research-b
acked strategies becomes paramount to ensure effective and ethical client
care. A foundational understanding sets the stage for a deeper exploration
of how evidence-based research can be effectively integrated into neurofe
edback practice for achieving better clinical outcomes. This webinar will
include:\n\n1) Practical ways of developing focused clinical questions\, n
avigating and appraising relevant literature\, and discerning high-quality
research.\n\n2) Presentation of real-world examples and case studies illu
strating the successful application of evidence-based strategies in treati
ng conditions like ADHD\, anxiety\, and PTSD using neurofeedback. These ex
amples serve to bridge the gap between theory and practice\, providing act
ionable insights for practitioners.\n\n3) Discussion of the selection and
use of standardized\, reliable\, and valid assessment tools for objectivel
y measuring client outcomes and informing evidence-based treatment decisio
ns.\n\n4) Ethical considerations of applying research findings to client c
are will be addressed. This segment aims to reinforce the ethical responsi
bilities of practitioners in an evidence-based framework.\n\nThe webinar w
ill conclude with a synthesis of the main takeaways\, underscoring the imp
ortance of ongoing professional development\, and the commitment to stayin
g abreast of emerging research in neurofeedback.\n\nIf you cannot attend t
he live webinar\, all paid registrants will receive a recording of the web
 inar.\n\nDate &amp\; Time: Thursday\, April 18\, 2024\, 12:00 noon Eastern

d on the content of this presentation\, the participant will be able to:\n
\n Understand what constitutes evidence-based practice and its importance
in neurofeedback.\n Learn how to formulate clear clinical questions for
guiding evidence-based practice.\n Learn strategies for critically apprai
sing neurofeedback literature.\n Learn how to effectively integrate resea
rch findings into clinical practice.\n Selection and application of valid
and reliable tools for client assessments.\n Learn evidence-based princi
ples that can be applied to various neurofeedback scenarios.\n Understand
how evidence-based strategies can have positive impact on client outcomes
and practice efficacy.\n\nFees: Webinar fee is $35.00 for all ISNR member
 s. The fee for non-ISNR members is $45.00. Student fee is $15 with proof o
f student status.\n\nContinuing Education: No CE credit is available for t
his webinar.\n\nINSTRUCTOR\nMark Zinn\, PhD\n\nDr. Zinn is an adjunct prof
essor at DePaul University and Chicago School of Professional Psychology w
here he teaches courses in applied research design and cognitive neuroscie
nce. He is also the co-founder and president of the NeuroCognitive Researc
h Institute\, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of
patients with complex neurological conditions. He has published clinical
case studies using eLORETA techniques in the Journal of Biological Psychol
ogy\, International Journal of Psychophysiology\, AAPB Journal\, and Neuro
Regulation. He recently co-authored a leading book chapter on Statistics a
 nd Research Methods in Tasman's Psychiatry\, 5th edition.\n\nCurrently\, h
e has been partnering with the leaders in the biotech industry to conduct
studies investigating the efficacy of a novel wearable neuromodulatory dev
